Lo mejor de todo es que está bastante cerca, a 1-2 horas, que, teniendo en cuenta lo enorme que es Australia, es prácticamente nada. Hay muchas formas para ir de Brisbane a la Gold Coast, por lo que puedes elegir cual es la que más te conviene. Ir de Brisbane a Gold Coast en tren

 

Esta es la forma que mas nos gusta para viajar de Brisbane a la Gold Coast ya que el trayecto es rápido, dura 1h45 aproximadamente, y el tren es súper cómodo. Eso sí, tienes que saber que no es un tren directo, hay que hacer una escala.

Desde Brisbane puedes dirigirte a varias estaciones, según la que te pille más cerca. Estas son:

 

• Brisbane Central Station
• Fortitude Valley
• South Brisbane
• South Bank

 

 

En cualquiera de esas estaciones tendrás que subir a un tren de la línea amarilla dirección Gold Coast Line. Estos trenes son de la compañía TRANSLink QLD, por lo que te recomendamos que adquieras una Gocard para que te salga más barato el viaje.

Una vez a bordo del tren en la línea amarilla tendrás que bajarte en la estación HELENSVALE. En Helensvale tendrás que subirte a otro tren dirección Broadbeach South, se trata también de la línea amarilla, pero en este caso de GLINK. Este tren recorre toda la costa de la Gold Coast, si quieres bajarte en Surfers Paradise tendrás que bajar en la estación SURFERS PARADISE.

Cómo llegar de Brisbane a la Gold Coast en autobús

 

La segunda opción para ir desde Brisbane a Surfers Paradise o la Gold Coast en general es yendo en autobús. Esta es una opción más rápida que el tren ya que no hay que hacer escalas, es un viaje directo. Eso sí, este viaje es más incómodo y caro que el del tren.

Hay un autobús directo que sale desde Brisbane y llega a Surfers Paradise, opera cuatro veces al día y el viaje dura aproximadamente una hora y cuarto. En este enlace encontrarás los horarios y las compañías que realizan este trayecto, estos viajes suelen ser operados por Greyhound Australia y el autobús sale desde la estación de Brisbane. El billete cuesta entre 20 y 40 dólares australianos, bastante más caro que yendo en tren.

Precio: entre 20 y 40 dólares

Distancia: 71 kilómetros

 

Tienes más alternativas, la compañía Link Transfers te recoge desde numerosos lugares a través de Brisbane y luego se dirige al aeropuerto de Gold Coast. Hay un servicio matutino que llega al aeropuerto de la Gold Coast antes de las 7:00 am y ciertos días antes de las 6:00 am. También hay un servicio de regreso. Los precios para adultos a tu destino específico en la Gold Coast comienzan en 46 dólares australianos.

La compañía Conxion ofrece servicios de transporte desde puntos en Brisbane incluyendo el aeropuerto de Brisbane, IKEA, la parada de autobús Logan, la estación de tren Beenleigh, y en la Gold Coast, BP Coomera, Caltex cerca de la reserva Anaheim Drive, Hope Island Road, el centro de tránsito Surfers Paradise, y Caltex Mudgeeraba. Los precios oscilan entre los 39 y los 89 dólares.

 

 

 

Ir del aeropuerto de Brisbane a la Gold Coast

 

Si quieres viajar directamente desde el aeropuerto de Brisbane hasta la Gold Coast tendrás que ir en tren, exactamente el mismo viaje explicado en el primer punto de este artículo, simplemente añadiendo unas cuantas paradas más.

La línea amarilla de TRANSLink tiene como primera parada el aeropuerto domestico y como segunda el aeropuerto internacional. Tan solo recuerda que tendrás que hacer escala en Helensvale y de ahí subir al segundo tren Glink que recorre toda la Gold Coast. No te olvides sacar la Gocard para que el viaje sea más económico.

 

 

 

Viajar a la Gold Coast desde Brisbane en taxi

 

Esta es la opción más cara de todas y la menos recomendable para llegar de Brisbane a la Gold Coast. Solo te puede servir si tienes mucha prisa y no tienes a nadie que te lleve en coche.

El precio de un taxi desde Brisbane a la Gold Coast no es fácil de medir, lo mejor sería acordar con el conductor un presupuesto. Una estimación sería entre 170 y 300 dólares. Contacte con Yellowcabs o con los taxis denblanco y negro para reservar dicho viaje.

Viajar a la Gold Coast desde Brisbane en coche

 

Si vas a conducir desde Brisbane a la Gold Coast, es mejor evitar los períodos de máxima actividad, si es posible. Las horas punta de la mañana y de la tarde no son nada divertidas, el tráfico es abundante y se generan muchos atascos. Fuera de los picos normalmente el viaje dura poco más de una hora.

Para llegar tienes que salir de Brisbane por la autopista del Pacífico y después de circular unos 30 kilómetros, tendrás que considerar qué salida tomar.

La autopista Smith St. te lleva a Southport, Main Beach y Surfers Paradise. Para Broadbeach o Mermaid Beach, tendrás que tomar la salida de Nerang-Broadbeach Road. Para Miami, Burleigh es la salida de Reedy Creek Road.

Esas son sólo tres salidas principales, te recomendamos que uses Google Maps para obtener direcciones más precisas. Anda con cuidado y circula a la velocidad permitida ya que hay muchas cámaras de velocidad operando en toda la zona.
